Southern ITeC are
experienced in carrying out training needs analysis within companies, developing
comprehensive staff development programmes, and delivering the training.
We are a centre for OCR, City & Guilds, ECDL, EBCI & Microsoft. We offer
a wide band of qualifications in our areas of specialism. Our experience
encompasses both personal development and specific skills training. Training

| Job Placements through the Worktrack programme | |

Having identified a Job Role and a list of corresponding, duties through the Worktrack programme we can place employees into a position in your company. We then pay the person while in employment. |

| Work Placements through the Jobskills programme | |
| Having
identified a job role and a list of corresponding duties, we can place a
trainee with you for 4 days each week, returning to ITeC on a day release
basis to complete his/her directed training to enable them to achieve an
NVQ. This would be an opportunity for you to evaluate and assess potential
future employees, without obligation. At any stage you can employ the person.
The trainee would continue in training to complete his/her training programme.
While in work placement we would charge a standard fee for the trainee's
services which in effect is your contribution to his/her training. You would

| What is an NVQ? | |
 |
NVQs (National Vocational Qualifications) are qualifications, which are based on standards set by industry in 11 broad occupational bands. There are 5 levels. NVQ level 2 is equivalent to 4 GCSE's with NVQ level 3 being equivalent to 2 'A' Levels. The emphasis in these qualifications is placed on the competency of the individual to perform tasks/jobs in the work place. It is therefore essential for the person to be placed in a work placement. |
